Itinerary
Day 1 | Drive to Rampur. Reach by afternoon and explore Khas Bagh and the Raza library. Try out the Habshee Halwa and the Chapli Kabab in the evening. |
Day 2 | Drive to Lohaghat. In the afternoon, explore Abbott Mount and its 13 cottages. |
Day 3 | In the morning, drive to Munsiyari. If you have time in the afternoon, go for a hike to one of the sacred ponds. |
Day 4 | Hike to Khaliya top to see the Panchachuli range in all its glory. Return to Munsyari in the evening. |
Day 5 | Drive to Patal Bhubaneswar. In the afternoon, explore the caves and their stalactites and stalagmites. Learn about their relevance to Indian mythology. |
Day 6 | Drive to Nayalap in the morning. Explore the Katarmal Sun Temple en route. In the afternoon, explore the Kumaoni village of Salla Rautela. |
Day 7 | On the day, go for a picnic lunch at a stream nearby. Explore that and an old Shiva temple at Rudreshwar |
Day 8 | Go for a forest hike from Nayalap in the day. In the evening, if you’re not tired, go for a sunset hike from Nayalap. |
Day 9 | Drive to Corbett National Park. In the afternoon, go for a safari. |
Day 10 | Early in the morning, take a morning safari through the Corbett National Park. Return to the hotel for breakfast, check out, and drive back home. |
