Create your best art in the wilderness

How many times have you gazed at the beauty of nature and wished you could paint that? Cameras and phones could not capture the moment the way painting with your hand does. Well here’s an opportunity to paint in a forest. Join us on a full-day workshop using pastels in nature – amongst forests and streams and create the best art you’ve ever had.

Inspiration for the best art you’d create

The hills of Shitlakhet are perfect to draw inspiration from. The Cottage with the village nearby and the valley are great for landscape artists. The luxury tents give you the space to observe the patterns in the leaves and the flowers. Stay at the Earth Home and discover sunsets like you’ve never seen before. Hike to the meadow and gaze up at the blue sky for inspiration. This is the inspiration for the best art you’d create – the simplicity of nature itself.

About your instructor

Khurram Amir completed his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in the year 2000. He spent the next 20 years in a variety of art-oriented industries. This experience had given him a lot of knowledge.

All along, he had a fervor for true art – an art that expresses our innermost feelings. The craft is entwined with the soul.

On and off, he kept honing his skills and nourished his art, both real and virtual. But the hectic world of commerce didn’t allow him the space. As a result, after 20 years of work, he left his job as the Art Director of a Game Art company to start this new chapter and start on his artistic quest. He loves to travel – enjoying the rich biodiversity of the land and its people, culture, and life, the fauna of the streets and scathed jungles. He looked up to the trees as guardians.

The life flowing through the sip of tea at the corner tea stalls inspired him to create beautiful expressions in his sketchbook. The laughter and merriment of his elated patrons, after looking at their sketches, were the stations of his journey. Read more about Khurram and get inspired to create the best art of your life.
